My summer has been VERY full – and, it’s time for a REBOOT!
On Monday, August 26th, I’ll fly to Portugal to begin my 2nd Camino. This time, as shown on the map above, I’ll be walking the Camino PortuguĂ©s from Porto to Santiago de Compostela, and then on to Finisterre and Muxia – a total of 270.8 miles / 435.8 km. As I experienced on my 1st Camino in 2019 (The Camino FrancĂ©s – 500 miles / 800 km), I’m looking forward to weeks of walking meditation, living simply and emptying out. (As I walk, I’ll be posting words and images of my Camino on my Facebook page, and I welcome your comments and feedback.)

I’ve now created 149 Chants/Songs for the Soul (which you can enjoy any time via my YouTube channel); I continue to serve many churches in both Canada and the U.S. (live, online via streaming, and with pre-recorded videos), as well as many local retirement homes; and I also perform in several local musical groups as a vocalist, bassist, and/or Chapman Stickist. (If you live in the BC interior, I hope to see you at one of my 3 concerts as a member of the Gary Cable project Sept. 26-28 – we’ll be performing with an orchestra and a choir!)
