Warm greetings and blessings to you, dear Friend!
May you be filled with lovingkindness.
May you be safe and protected from all inner and outer dangers.
May you be well in body and mind.
May you be at ease and happy.
THIS MONTH’S TOPIC
Last month, I was inspired by “The View From The Top”, an idea within Eric Butterworth’s classic book “Spiritual Economics”.
This month, I’m feeling inspired to take a look at whatever limited thinking hampers my View From The Top and CLEAN IT OUT, so that I can get on with fully living the Big Life I’m meant to live.
As it says in “The Game Of Life”, by Florence Scovel Shinn: “I now smash and demolish (by my spoken word) every untrue record in my subconscious mind. They shall return to the dust-heap of their native nothingness, for they came from my own vain imaginings. I now make my perfect records through the Christ (consciousness) within – the records of Health, Wealth, Love and Perfect Self-Expression.”
To that end, I made a decision at the beginning of March to stop eating sugar.
Those who know about my relationship with chocolate know that this is no small thing (!)… AND, rather than seeing the decision as being about something that I’m “giving up”, I’m easily seeing it as something that’s making way for something else that’s MUCH bigger and better.
The decision to stop eating sugar has helped me to remember and dismantle a pattern of behaviour that I’ve had for many years – what I call a “drama pattern”. My home life, especially in my teens, was pretty dramatic and tumultuous, AND it was my “normal”… So, in the years that followed, every time my life got too peaceful – and boring! – I’d create some drama to make it interesting again!
These two Small Steps – no more sugar, no more drama – in addition to the “tools” that I mentioned in last month’s newsletter (daily EFT/tapping, daily meditation, daily walks, and daily reading of empowering books) – are having a profoundly positive impact on how I see myself and everyone and everything the world around me.
wooHOO!
YES, YAY and AMEN!
So – with gratitude and curiosity – I am accepting and continuing my SPRING CLEANING.
